We all need a little motivation! Here are 5 tips that will help you stay motivated:
1) Visualize- Look for inspiration and set goals for where you want to be and what you want to do. Vision boards and journals are helpful. You always want a goal to work towards; once you reach that goal, make a new one!
2)Passion- Try new things & sign up for as many classes as you can. There are so many ways to workout and you may just find a favorite if you step out of your comfort zone.
3) Accountability- Surround yourself with positive people that have similar interests. Social media and hashtags, or tags in your city may be able to connect you to like-minded groups. This is so important and can make it fun and help you stay committed. It’s easier to stay on track when your friends around you have similar goals.
4) Consistency- This is key! Routines are important to reaching your goals. Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier and get in a sweat session before work. Or create a schedule that allows you to go to a class 2-3 times a week. Do this daily!
5) Discipline- Track your progress. Continue to be your own biggest cheerleader. Reward yourself when goals are met. And don’t restrict yourself from things you like to do or eat. Everything in moderation
This is your journey and only YOU can make it happen! Don’t give up- push through, because in the end, it is so worth it!
