Bulletproof Coffee

Coffee+Oil+Butter=Game Changer
This is a new drink that I have been drinking pretty regularly the last two weeks and I am obsessed. At first I was a skeptic due to the amount of fats that are in it, but I gave it a chance and I will never go back to plain coffee. It really does help jump start my day, and I love that fact that it gets my body burning fats that it has stored instead of fueling it with carbs and burning those. Bulletproof coffee triggers weight loss by way of ketosis; a metabolic state triggered by a lack of carbs that kicks fat-burning into overdrive, helps kill those cravings, and helps boosts cognitive function (and is ridiculously delicious)!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of your favorite brewed coffee (I like to stick with an organic coffee)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or MCT oil (or more, I usually put in 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil)
  • 1 teaspoon organic grassfed unsalted butter
  • Optional: vanilla, cinnamon, cacao powder, dark chocolate, stevia
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Mix on high speed for 20 seconds until frothy. Drink immediately and enjoy all the energy!
