Growing up, I participated in so many sports, was always on the go, and loved being active. As I grew older, in my mid to late 20s, I began to get “lazy” and would do yo-yo dieting and work out every once in awhile. Not seeing results, I quickly would give up and chalk it up to I am a “thicker” girl and can’t lose weight. Now, being a single female in my early 30s, I knew I needed to make a change if I wanted to feel and look younger. After a trip to the beach last summer, I watched a video of myself in a bikini and realized that I am not in the shape that I wanted to be in. I never thought of myself as overweight, but realized, I was. So I began googling workout routines and finding healthy meals on Pinterest. I then began following Tone it Up.
My Workitout100 Journey began back in September 2014. I was following some Tone It Up girls on Instagram and noticed they were posting about #workitout100 and decided to join! Realizing that exercise can be fun and doesn’t have to be weights or cardio machines daily, I fell in love with being active again. I have now completed 2 rounds of workitout100 and am happy to announce that in the 8-9 months that I have been working out, I have lost 32 lbs and over 20 inches throughout my body. I am actually at my weight I was in High School and I never would have thought I could reach that goal! I have a huge passion for the fit and fabulous lifestyle and believe that if sharing my fitness story can inspire or motivate one person, this journey is well worth it!!! Stop waiting for things to happen, go out and make them happen! You can do it- never give up!
