Product Review: UrbanHalo

By now we are sure that you are all well aware of the love we have for headbands. We have more headbands than we know what to do with, but we continue to buy more. They’re so practical; for workouts to keep your hair out of your face and also for daily wear.

There are so many headband companies out there, and we have tried quite a few of them. Some we like, some we don’t.

UrbanHalo is one of our favorite headbands to rock!

How do you find the perfect headband you ask? There are a few simple questions you should ask yourself when trying to find the best headband for you:

1. Do they stay on your head? This may be a silly question, because one would think any headband would stay on your head since that’s the purpose it serves. It’s not the case. We want a headband that will stay in place whether we’re running on the treadmill, lifting weights and/or moving around in different positions in a yoga class. There’s nothing more frustrating than having to pause your workout to fix your headband.

2. Do you love the print? Fashionable is just as important as functional. (UrbanHalo offers a huge variety of prints; patterned and solids). You can also wear UrbanHalos a few different ways; folded so they’re thinner or expanded out fully for more of a headwrap-look.

3. Is it reasonably priced? How much a headband costs is very important. If you’re like us, we love a variety. We want to have a different headband for everyday of the week (for a whole month. haha). We find UrbanHalo to be very reasonably priced. You can sometimes find an offer for them if you buy a couple headbands, you’ll get it at a better price then just buying one- SCORE!

UrbanHalo is a Minnesota based company. Jen Joas is the designer, and she has been great to work with for our up coming UrbanHalo giveaway (which we’re very excited about- stay tuned for more details soon). She believes that accessories should be as functional as they are fashionable- and we agree!
